Graduate Research Assistant
Sara graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Genetics. She is currently a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Program in Genetics, and is doing a rotation in the Drack Lab from February to May 2020. Between undergrad and graduate school, she took a year off and worked at Corteva Agriscience and Mercy Hospital in Des Moines to gain outside work experience to prepare herself for graduate school. She was involved a lot with an all women's choir in undergrad at Iowa State called Lyrica, and that was one of her favorite things. Her hobbies include doing puzzles and taking walks. She also likes to play board games or video games with her friends.
